Ms. Johnson has a multi-state perspective on family law. Licensed and admitted to the bar in both New Mexico and Wisconsin, Ms. Johnson is keenly aware of the impact jurisdiction can have on many family law matters..

During her education, Ms. Johnson clerked for U.S. District Court Judge Kenneth Gonzales. Learning what a judge looks for and expects was a key take-away from her internship, as was a hands-on understanding of the workings of the federal rules of civil procedure.

Ms. Johnson has also interned at the United States Attorney’s Office in Albuquerque, the Medical College of Wisconsin Office of Risk Management, and since 2015, at David Walther Law. She has experience conducting research for upcoming trials, responding to requests of the court, writing memoranda and drafting case documents. Her internships provided her with a relatively broad perspective on various aspects of the law; her choice to concentrate on family law is based both on temperament and experience.
